What Causes Hyperhidrosis?

Too much sweating lies under the irregular condition called “hyperhidrosis”. People find this problem as result by improper hygiene. There are varieties of factors that causes this condition other than that.

 

Sympathetic nervous system is responsible of sending signal to the brain in case of occurrence of extreme weathers. This signals sent to the brain respond to the body by reducing or cooling down the produced liquid. In some cases, these sweat glands failed to respond accordingly to the message sent by the brain, producing excessive liquid.

Hyperhidrosis can also be a cause of genetic condition. This is an irregularity that can run through your generations. Meanwhile, secondary hyperhidrosis has been identified as the abnormality brought about by pregnancy, menopausal, hypoglycaemia, hyperthyroidism, obesity, infections like HIV, tuberculosis and other health related problems. 

 

Treatments for Hyperhydrosis

Excessive sweating can be corrected through three effective ways. Oral medications may be given to control the sweat glands in production of sweat. Meanwhile, Iontophoresis works by soaking the affected area such as feet and hands in tap water for about some minutes, several times a week. Application of current must be done to trigger the sweat glands. Lastly is the surgery for the removal of sweat glands in permanent time.
