Unlike other aging procedures, botox is less painful. In fact, it requires no recovery time as it simple in contrast with other cosmetic treatments. Several injections are required to achieve an effective result but in an expensive cost.

Risks of Botox Injection

Since Botulinum Toxin has been injected to the human body, there will be a tendency that chemicals might spread from where it was injected. It may case certain effects such as redness, face muscle weakness and corneal ulceration or the sore within the white of the eye.

Since muscle of the face has been weakened through injection, it may limit the facial expressions and blinking of the patient. Repeated botox injection may result to severe and harmful effect such as difficulty in breathing and swallowing. Younger people and children are more prone to these risks. If problem continues after several weeks, it may lead to death of the person. Effect will be observable a week after but average effect may last for three to four months only.
