Sometimes called liposuction, liposculpture is a surgical operation. It should not be treated as a minor procedure that can be undertaken in anything other than a formal operating room, with the patient requiring the appropriate general anaesthesia. It is usually performed as day surgery.

Immediately after the procedure, you will be fitted with a support girdle. There will be bruising for up to three weeks. After one week the girdle is removed, and you will see improvement taking place towards the end of the first month, and the final result can take up to three months to become apparent.

There is a rapid return to physical activity with liposculpture patients at Medici clinics, limited only by mild discomfort.
